Meet Lyndsay...

Born in Fife, Scotland, Lyndsey moved at aged 14 to Canada, where at 18 she joined the Canadian Army. She served 26 years at various postings, which included a six month tour in Afghanistan and a year posted in Quebec where she had the opportunity to learn French. She retired in 2020 due to medical injuries both physical and mental and returned to Scotland to be closer to her younger sister.
 
She has three adult children, one of whom is autistic and lives with her in their little house overlooking the Firth of Forth. She is a huge supporter of her local library and small independent book shops. She loves to travel and spends her days reading, growing veg, knitting or down the beach with the dogs.
 
Her hope is to help other readers avoid the disappointment of buying a book (sometimes highly acclaimed) only to discover that it does not 'tickle their fancy'.
